Chris graduated from Monash University in 1980 and became a Partner of Collins & Stephens in 1987. In his role as Director of Traders Collection Services, he leads the strategic direction of the firm and oversees the day-to-day running of the business. Chris has over 30 years experience in all areas of commercial and contractual disputes, particularly in personal and corporate insolvency and general debt recovery. He has appeared in all relevant jurisdictions and has acted for creditors and insolvency practitioners over many years, in relation to all aspects of debt-related law. Chris also has a significant practice in debtor ledger collection work for many insolvency practitioners.
Nick joined Collins & Stephens in 2003 with several years’ prior experience in mercantile collections. He primarily focuses on general commercial litigation matters, bankruptcy and corporate insolvency and has extensive experience dealing with statutory authorities. He regularly appears in several Court forums including the Victorian Magistrates Court, the County and Supreme Courts, VCAT, the Federal Court and the Federal Circuit Court.
